Our Service

Thank you for shopping at TIN HAUS. We are a company that aims for the highest quality craftsmanship in contemporary fine jewelry that our customers will love forever. Thank you for being a part of the journey while giving us the platform to do what we love. That said, please read through our Terms and Conditions to understand our manufacturing procedures, custom order process, and shipping and return/exchange policies.

 

Production Time:

Ready-to-ship items are mailed out from our Los Angeles studio within 2-3 business days after approved payment. Otherwise, jewelry is handmade-to-order and ships upon completion. Please allow up to 2-weeks of production prior to shipment. Custom jewelry orders are about a 4-8 week process depending on design.

 

Much care is taken to package your jewelry safely and securely. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us ASAP so we can correct what occurred during shipping.

Returns & Exchanges

All Sales are Final.

We are confident you will love your purchase, however since all jewelry is handcrafted, we accept exchanges or returns for store credit only. Please contact us within 7 days of receipt for instructions on the return or exchange process. Unworn items in their original packaging and condition will be accepted postmarked within 14 days of receipt for an exchange or store credit only. Pieces with scuffs or marks will not be accepted. 

 

Custom orders, purchases made in-person, discounted items, resized pieces, made-to-orders, and one-of-a-kind jewelry are FINAL SALE.

 

Due to these terms, feel free to email us if you have any questions, if you would like us to send you additional sizing information, photos, or videos to help you decide on the perfect piece. We want to make sure you are in love with your TIN HAUS jewelry so it can become a treasured part of your life's journey.

 

If returning items for an exchange or store credit, pack very securely in a cushioned box or envelope, include a copy of the original invoice and the reason for the return. Please use a carrier with tracking. Email us once you are ready, and we will provide you a returns address.

 

All costs related to return shipping are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items during shipping.  

Why All Sales Final? - You Might Ask

Because you do not want to wear jewelry that has been worn. Traditionally, jewelry is seen as intimate wear.

We do not want to sell you jewelry that someone else wore. It is a priority to offer jewelry that is sanitary. Especially important during these times.

The production costs for our small business to handmake all jewelry starting from raw precious materials. And if returns were accepted, including the time it will take to bring jewelry to a salable condition.

To entertain any kind of returns, we would have to incur at least 15% additional cost, which means we will have to pass the cost back to you, the customer. Instead we ask you to make sure you are buying jewelry you are going to keep and use.

Once again: All Sales Are Final. No Exceptions.

Repairs

Repairs are available for defective items as long as it is returned within the first 30 days of receipt. If you have had the item for more than 30 days, please get in contact with us so we can assess the request for repair. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend that the package is insured for the value of the item. 

 

After inspection, repairs will be made to the item. Once repairs are fulfilled, we will take care of the shipping costs back to the customer.

 

We reserve the right to politely refuse unreasonable requests.

Shipping

Domestic:
All U.S. orders are are shipped FREE via USPS Priority Mail, with Signature Confirmation (for orders over $100). Faster shipping is available, however please be aware that opting for expedited shipping only modifies the arrival of your package, not the time it takes to finish your jewelry. 

 

Please allow 2-7 business days transit once your items have shipped. If you desire alternative shipping methods, please let us know so we can try to accommodate. If you need your order by a certain date, please let us know prior to your purchase so we can determine how we can ensure that you receive your items within the requested time frame.

 

TIN HAUS is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once it has shipped through the Post Office, or through your preferred carrier.

 

International:

All International orders are shipped via USPS First-Class Mail International. Please allow 7-13 business days transit plus customs. 

 

Please be aware that customers are responsible for all import duties/taxes that may be charged. 

 

TIN HAUS is not responsible for lost or delayed packages during shipment. No compensation will be made for errors by the Post Office, or if the incorrect address is given at checkout. Please contact us prior to your purchase if you want insurance or tracking added to your order.

Material Use & Practices

All TIN HAUS jewelry are made-to-order in an environmentally conscious studio.

 

All TIN HAUS jewelry is 100% handcrafted using only the highest quality materials to create unique, contemporary heirlooms to cherish for life. Our creations are handmade using recycled precious metals of solid silver and gold.

 

We use lab grown diamonds and responsibly sourced precious gemstones in our jewelry as much as possible. We also work with post-consumer and ethically-sourced natural diamonds that are collected in accordance with the UN Kimberley Process. A process that was set up to ensure that diamond purchases were not financing violence.

Payments

We accept payment through PayPal and all major credit/debit cards. Your item(s) will begin production after cleared payment. 

 

Applicable state taxes will be calculated at checkout.

Terms of Use

TIN HAUS reserves the right to cancel or refuse a sale or service for any reason. Should this happen, a full refund will be issued if a deposit has been made. TIN HAUS reserves the right to alter policies, prices, and costs to best reflect the accurate value of the materials, manufacturers, postage, and brand development.
