Refunds & Exchanges

Exchanges  can be made within 7 days of receiving your order as long as the items are returned unworn and in its original packaging and condition.  All exchanges will be assessed upon arrival.  Please contact us for return address & instructions.  For an exchange, you will be required to pay additional shipping costs for your new item to be sent to you.  


All sales are final on purchases made in-person, custom orders and one-of items.   

Shipping

After approved payment, ALL jewelry are made-to-order and ships upon completion. Please allow 10 days of production time prior to shipment.


DOMESTIC:

Items are shipped free via USPS First-Class.  Faster shipping options are available at checkout. However, upgrading to express shipping does not  speed up production, only the number of days it takes the package to arrive once it has shipped. If you need your order quicker, please leave a note at checkout and I'll do my best to accommodate your request. 


Please allow 2-7 business days transit once your items have shipped. TIN HAUS is not responsible for lost or stolen items that are marked as delivered.


Prices do not include sales tax. Taxes where applicable in the state of California will be automatically calculated at checkout.
 

INTERNATIONAL:
We ship Standard International Airmail.  Please allow 7-13 business days transit + customs (varies depending on country).
 

Please be aware that customers are liable/responsible for all import duties/taxes that may be charged.
 

Please also note that TIN HAUS is not responsible for lost & delayed  packages during shipment. No compensation will be made for errors by the Post Office or if the incorrect address is given upon checkout. Please contact us prior to your purchase if you would like insurance or tracking added to your order.


Much care is taken to package your jewels safely & securely. If your jewels arrive damaged or broken, please contact us ASAP.  We will do our very best to accommodate to ensure you are happy.

Materials Use & Practices

To help reduce carbon footprint and waste, ALL TIN HAUS jewelry are made-to-order in Los Angeles with a production time of 10 business days. 


All TIN HAUS jewelry is 100% handmade using only the highest quality materials including sterling silver, gold and platinum as well as specially selected stones to create unique, contemporary pieces that lasts.  Whenever possible, our creations are made with recycled and sustainable materials including silver and 14kt gold; recycled gold or fairmined gold.  


We use lab grown diamonds and ethically-sourced precious gemstones in our jewelry.  We also use fairmined or recycled natural diamonds, which are sourced in accordance with the UN Kimberley Process.  A process that was set up to ensure that diamond purchases were not financing violence by rebel movements and their allies seeking to undermine legitimate governments.  


Alternatives such as moissanite may be available, depending on the piece.


All orders are blessed and smudged with dried white sage, lavender, and/or immortelle to clear its energy, ready to attune to its Wearer. They rest on top of a selenite crystal slab until they are ready to ship out.

Payments

We accept payment through PayPal, Venmo, and all major credit/debit cards, cashiers checks, and money orders. Your item(s) will  begin production within 2-3 business days after cleared payment.

Terms of Use

TIN HAUS reserves the right to cancel or refuse a sale or service for any reason. Should this happen, a full refund will be issued if a purchase or deposit has been made. TIN HAUS  also reserves the right to alter prices and costs to best reflect the accurate costs of materials, manufacturers, postage, and brand  development.

The Process
 

We create all our jewelry by hand. We use traditional and advanced fabrication techniques as well as hand-carved pieces for the lost wax casting process. Your piece will be a one-of-a-kind, exclusive piece of jewelry. No use of CAD, unless requested.


Step 1:  Involves several emails.  Discussion about the piece, size, stones, and metals to be used; as well as anything meaningful to you such as the inspiration for the piece.  I will guide you during the design process by making suggestions, if need be, so the end results will fit within the parameters of your aesthetics.  We will cover size, metals, stones, a price and shipping information.
Step 2:  The creation process. Once we have a clear understanding of your vision from our email correspondences, your approval is required before we begin fabrication.  Once you've given us your approval, a 50% deposit is required.  Thereafter, we begin production which is a 2-5 week process depending on the intricacy of the piece. Once your piece is ready, we will send you an email with pictures and a link to a page on our website to pay for the remaining balance.
